About us

Inspired by a love of art supplies and fueled by my search for a high quality travel brush, the idea for 'Art to find' was born. What's a desperate artist to do when things are just so 'art to find'?

I set out on a mission to find the best. My brush search happened to coincide with an episode of 'Ask an artist' podcast where they had an interview with Rosemary Thomson (founder of Rosemary & Co). Hearing the story of how making fishing flies in her teens led to making her own brushes was truly fascinating. She has grown the business from a DIY hobby to a thriving company to rival the best. Her passion was tangible. I was inspired.

I had to get my hands on one of them! I was able to get hold of the regular Kolinsky Sable brush. The quality by far exceed my expectations. The shop idea was cemented and my order followed shortly after.

I value quality of service, as well as product knowledge, which is why the Rosemary watercolor brushes are the supplies I chose for maiden voyage of the shop. It's what I know best. According to very official statistics, I will be able to answer 87,3% of your questions. I'm a watercolour artist, printmaking enthusiast and avid collector of art supplies.

You may have noticed that I used very few, if any 'we' statements. There is no us. It is only me, Natasha. Shopkeeper extraordinaire. Marketing, sales and support. Clicking the checkout button will trigger a very professional happy dance behind the scenes.

Orders will be packed by my own two little hands, although I may employ my own progeny for licking stamps and folding boxes. They will be compensated handsomely with shelter and Wi-Fi access.
